Your files stay on your device

Every tool on Privly processes files entirely in your browser. When you select a file, it never leaves your device. Processing happens in a dedicated background worker — not on a remote server. You can verify this by disconnecting your internet after the page loads; the tools continue to work.

What we do not collect

• File contents, filenames, or metadata
• Exact image dimensions or PDF page counts
• Your IP address or browser fingerprint
• Personal identification information
• Tool configuration values (quality, dimensions, format choices)

Anonymous measurement

We may collect anonymous, aggregated counts of tool usage to understand which tools are useful. This includes event types like "tool started" or "download completed" paired with coarse categories like "organic" or "direct" acquisition. No filename, file content, configuration, or personal data is included. Measurement can be disabled at any time and never blocks your ability to use the tools.

Third parties

We do not share your data with third parties. No advertising networks, analytics vendors, or external services receive your files or tool usage data.
